Tiny Delights is Townsville's first nanny agency providing nannies, babysitters and mother’s helpers to families in the Townsville region. These checks protect children by ensuring all carers have no prior relevant criminal convictions. These checks are carried out for us by the Department of Children’s Services (NSW)/Commission for Children & Young People (QLD). The Working with Children Check/Blue Card is mandatory for anyone wishing to pursue any career related to children. We spend a great deal of time speaking with past employers and cross checking references, as well as verifying all relevant certificates. Besides experience and qualifications, patience, kindness, trustworthiness, what we look for in our nannies is reliability, responsibility and most importantly a sincere love for children. Our goal is to find someone who is similar to you in these areas to act on your behalf when you’re not available. Through in-depth registration forms and face to face interviews, views on disciplining and values and beliefs, we find out about personal interests, helping us to better match families and nannies. A good ‘match’ is vital for open communication and a healthy professional relationship.
