The liquefied Helium Plant allows BBC to recover, purify and liquefy the helium component from an existing waste nitrogen stream tomorrow from within the Darwin LNG plant. Identification of competitive, technically capable Australian manufacturers capable of undertaking the manufacture of equipment and components for the Project. Nominate companies with a proven track record in the manufacture of the needed equipment. Educating proponents that for many components of the plant, Australian companies have the required technology, capability and can be cost effective. Assist NT businesses in obtaining all accreditation needed for the project. Initial capital costs are estimated at 121 Million Dollars. The Alice Springs to Darwin Railway contract was the largest engineering project undertaken in Australia in 50 years, with a entire value of 1.1 billion. Advise the project on Australian industry capability and capacity in general. Work with the project to flourish initiatives to amplify involvement of Australian and Fresh Zealand industry without meaningful cost impediment to the project. Advise the project on the suitability of contract scopes, such that they represent Australian standard practice and do not inadvertently preclude AZ participation. Labor with the project to aid Eli in identification of capable AZ based suppliers. Work with the project and ICC WA office to prosper initiatives to amplify involvement of Northern Territory industry without important cost impediment to the project. Help the project in notifying NT industry of the project, its opportunities and timeliness via ICC Gateway. Aid the project with coordination of supplier briefings and information dissemination.
