We even have interlocking rooms great for families, 2 ensuites, a fishermans hut (fully self contained hut) and a beach house (2bedroom, lover's bay, studio room, ensuite/non-ensuite rooms, safari tents (queens beds & singles), groups and friends. Different holiday styles and budgets are catered for with a variety of rooms and facilities. Spacious timber decks, provide the setting for fun, 3 entertaining areas and covered patios with barbecues and lounges, carefree holidays. The guesthouse and adjoining beach house features a distinct queensland character designed to suit the tropical island lifestyle. Our free pick-up, at magnetic island ferry terminal, gets you to the guesthouse within five minutes of arrival. The beachside guesthouse, is centrally located within walking distance of shops, overlooking peaceful geoffrey bay, walking tracks and attractions. The creative building was constructed in 1946 and opened in 1947 as a holiday hostel for nurses. Nurses from the Townsville region were able to visit Magnetic Island and stay at the hostel for a little price.
