From the further funds and awareness raised through Peter's brave plight, WSW will plant native eucalyptus trees in rehabilitation sanctuaries for koalas, to aid save the animal from extinction. The organization has also vowed to plant enough trees to offset the whole carbon emissions released by all SPAR Australia place making us the first grocery retailer to be wholly Carbon Neutral! The festival is held every 2 years, over 5 days, and attracts over 3500 people from all over Australia.The event featured over 40 events such as wool bale rolling, whip cracking, the Iron man and Outback Iron Women events as healthy as Australia's strongest man attempting to break a Guinness World Record. The festival was a vast win as the locals and visitors enjoyed the local entertainment, sporting events and vast atmosphere.
